Trabadelo

We left our albergue in Camponaraya at 7 AM and at a forecasted 10 % chance of rain it started to rain. The good thing was it didn't rain hard. We passed through a couple of small towns. It's amazing to see these small towns surviving and even thriving.

A bakery. Notice how big the oven is by the spatula he has to put the dough in

Our trek today took us through miles and miles of vineyards.

I have been waiting to get a group picture. Here it is without Kevin Gibson.
Who walked at a faster pace.
L to R: Paul, Maidere, Kate, Werner, Brian, Guy and Marlene.

Entering Villafranca

An old something
Having had lunch In Villafranca.
We left at 1 and took the easy path( road) to Trabedelo where we had reserved a room in a small private alberque. A very nice place complete with sheets on our beds. Not bunk beds!
We decided to make our dinner which included a salad and a rice dish. So good.
Tomorow we climb about 3000 feet in the last mountain range we will cross. I sure hope the rain quits. Climbing a mountain in rain gear will be no fun.

Goon night.

Paul
