Fromista

We had an early start at 6 AM and immediately headed up a cliff or at least it felt like a cliff.  It got the heart pounding early and the downside was paved to avoid erosion with an 18% slope indicated.

We have changed provinces and are walking the meseta (The plains) which seem to go on forever.  There is a lot of agriculture and it resemebles the mid west.

There is an extensive water management system to support this.

The town of Fromista has a population of under 1,000 and has three churches.  One was being opened as we walked by.

As I left the church a herd of sheep went down the street.

Visited a second church.

Then back to the Albergue where I noted the number of electronic devices were being used.  Below was one charging station.

After. 25 kilometers time for rest.
