Bells and more bells

After a pleasant evening and attending vespers in the monestery where stayed and we headed for bed. There are three churches in town and they all started with a MAJOR ringing at 9 PM and again at 10 PM plus the regular hourly bells.  I began to wonder if they were announcing the end of the world.  A wonderful celebration, but hard to sleep .

The next morning we had breakfast in town before we left.  A pleasant change.

The  28 kilometer walk across the meseta began with a nice sunrise .

This was followed by a traditional shadow photo

Still no rain, but the weather varies with cloud cover.  Brian may be cold, while I am down to shorts.

It was a slow news day so a lost dogis making the blog

I am happy to report that the dog was reunited with its owner by Marlene, a member of our group who stopped before us today.

The last news is that a family came into the Albergue where we are staying with a child in a cart .

A fine example of the end the day wash.

Kevin, Paul 's son in law, will join us shortly .

That is it for today

Guy
