Camponaraya

We left early (again) at 7:20 and walked in  a light rain.  It never got worse and it was pleasant walking in the rain.  Paul loves his pancho.

We had coffee before we left and again in Molinseca.  We finally found a cash machine there which was a good thing.  The wallets were almost empty.

We had a real breakfast for the first time there.  Bacon, eggs, toast, beans, and orange juice or coffee.

The streets were lovely but the alleys were narrow.

We saw another memorial to a deceased pilgrim.  This does not happen often, but it does happen.

We then arrived at Ponferrada withs beautiful castle.

There continue to be a wonderful pro pilgrim messages along the way.

We are now in the Albergue where we did a minor faux pad, saying Hola to an elderly gentleman, which is wrong as it indicates an informal address - should have said Buenas Tardes.  We apologized and all is well.  They keep bringing us tapas (pinchos) which are great.

We also went past a small church and were again reminded of how adored Mary is here.

That is it for today.
