Logrono

We had breakfast this morning at a little before 7 which included bread, butter and jam. Oh, super strong coffee also.
Only 21 km today. Relatively flat today except for all the hills.
Kay says we have walked 178 km with 612 to go. My opinion is thie camino is not about the mileage but about all the great experiences one has during the mileage.
After we arrived in Lagronio we took a walk around the old town in search of the  wine festival happenings and associated food. We found a tapa bar and had two very nice tapas and the proceeded to find the park where last year venders were serving various wines and foods. Well the dozens of tables and booths were empty of people because of siesta time . We passed by a barbecue pit that still had dozens of sausages and ribs that had been cooked to perfection. So as we are standing there salivating over them the cook came out and we (Liz) asked him if it would be possible to have some of them. Ten minutes later we had a large plate of meat and pimiento pedrom (  non hot peppers baked in some olive oil with salt flakes) so so good. Don't forget the good Spanish wine. What a wonderful dinner we had.

After dinner we went into the center of the old town and had some wine In an out side bar. As the evening progressed more and more people that we know showed up turned into a party. 6AM came early today.

Don't know why many bathrooms can't afford to put a seat on the pots. Kind of rude to me to sit on one.
